Monday, Oct. 16 to Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023!
Six days of Plein Air painting fun amid the charming sights in and around historic downtown Florence, Colorado and the Royal Gorge Region.

Come Join Us!

Plein Air  is a French expression that means "in the open air" and is often used to describe the act of painting outdoors.

Spectators of the Florence Arts Council Paint the Town event may see artists working on such scenes as historic buildings, doorways, colorful flowers or even people.  Friday, may be the best opportunity to see artists at work since they will be restricted to downtown  Florence.

The public is invited to the Artists Reception, Awards Presentation and Plein Air Art Sale on Saturday evening where the work created during the week will be available for sale.  Come early for the best selection.  It's always a great time!
