Paint the Town 2017:

Plein Air is a French expression that means "in the open air" and is often used to describe the act of painting outdoors.
Spectators of the Florence Arts Council Paint the Town event may see artists working on such scenes as historic buildings, doorways, colorful flowers or even people. Friday, may be the best opportunity to see artists at work since they will be restricted to downtown Florence. The public is invited to the Artists Reception, Awards Presentation and Plein Air Art Sale on Saturday evening where the work created during the week will be available for sale. Come early for the best selection. It's always a great time! |

Please note that you will need to come into the Bell Tower to Check-in, Pick up your Artists Packet & have your canvases stamped PRIOR to starting painting. Check in starts Monday October 13th at 8am! We will be open until 4pm daily for your convenience. See you soon! |
